baby-toddler-parenting Blog
Here you will find nudges and
bright light ideas to spur you
on to great parenting...like a
user instruction manual in what
to do with babies-toddlers-kids.
I hope you feel comfortable
subscribing to my mini bloglet
RSS feed.
It will keeps you up to date
on when new material is added to
my website and will include any special news or postings that
I think might be of special
interest to you.
(RSS stands for real simple sindication)
If you aren't familiar with RSS
(like myself until recently!),
just find the orange button.
It's a great way to get the
topics that you are interested
in delivered right to your door (computer).
And it bypasses all the goofy
spam that comes along with email."
I think it even rings your
doorbell when something new is
added to a site you are following
so you don't have to go out searching and you don't have to bookmark endlessly. The updates come to
you to peruse at your
convenience--and since you've
chosen your "feeds" to add,
they're all your very own
interests.
To get started, if you don't
already have one, it just requires
a reader that you can download
for free from
Windows -- RssReader
http://www.rssreader.com/
or for Mac users:
Mac -- NetNewsWire
http://ranchero.com/netnewswire/
Whenever you see an orange
button on a site that interests you,
right-click
where it says "RSS"
(or "control" click for Mac users)
and select "Copy Shortcut" from the menu that pops up
(or for Mac, "Copy Link to Clipboard")
and paste that URL into your
RSS Reader.
That's all there is to it,
you're subscribed.
It's very convenient and almost
too easy to UNSUBSCRIBE: just
delete the feed from your feed list.
