RAINY DAY ACTIVITIES

When the rain comes and everybody is cooped up inside, that's the time to call out the rainy day activities cavalry.

A day of rain doesn't necessarily mean a day stuck inside. It depends, of course, on the circumstances. If the day is a light steady drizzel, then it's ok to put on a raincoat and boots and go outside in the rain for some PUDDLE JUMPING or hopping or splashing.

run in the rain

stick your tongues out and try to catch the raindrops

splash in rain puddles

take along a bucket, set it down somewhere and see how full it gets. Measure the rainfall.

Back inside when the rain gets too heavy to have fun playing in, lets see what we can do.
